The meeting "Long range interactions in quantum systems" will take place at the Institut d’Optique (Palaiseau ) from September 24th to the 26th 2014.
The goal is to discuss the latest developments in the physics of dipolar systems, and more generally, long-rang interacting quantum systems. This two and a half-day interdisciplinary workshop will consist of invited talks on the latest experimental and theoretical breakthroughs in the now well-established field of dipolar quantum gases, and will also allow to explore emerging systems, both in AMO and condensed-matter physics, in which (resonant) dipole-dipole interaction play a crucial role.
